Your video never leaves your device. We only send the audio to transcribe it, and we don't keep it.
How it works
- 1
Pick your video
Choose an edited MP4, MOV or WebM. We check its length and resolution on your device before anything is sent.
- 2
Automatic transcription
We extract only the audio in your browser and transcribe it with a timestamp for every word. The language is detected for you.
- 3
Tune the style
Pick a style, position and size, fix any word and watch the result live on your video.
- 4
Download
Export an MP4 with burned-in captions at the original resolution and frame rate. SRT and VTT files too.
Five styles made for social media
Sprint, Pill, Neon, Clean and Bold Pop share ClipSprint's palette. They all scale with the video's height, so they look the same in vertical, horizontal or square video.
Everything you need to caption a short video
-
Word-by-word highlight
The word being said changes colour, like the most-watched videos on TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
-
Truly private
Your video never leaves your device. Only the audio travels to be transcribed, and it is discarded as soon as the text comes back.
-
Same quality
A 720p video comes out in 720p and a 1080p video in 1080p. No upscaling and no watermark.
-
Any language
English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Japanese, Arabic and many more, with automatic language detection.
-
Quick editing
Fix words, change how many appear at once and move the caption block without leaving the page.
-
SRT and VTT files
Download the captions to upload them to YouTube or use them in any editor, for free.
Your video is never uploaded
CueSprint does all the heavy lifting in your browser: it reads the video, draws the captions and encodes the final MP4 using your device's hardware.
The only thing that leaves your device is the audio, converted to speech quality (mono, 16 kHz), to produce the transcript. It is processed in memory and never stored. Close the tab and everything is gone. Read the details in our privacy policy.

Frequently asked questions
Is CueSprint free?
Yes. There are no paid plans and no sign-up. The site is funded by ads and by traffic to ClipSprint, our clipping tool.
Is my video uploaded to a server?
No. The video is processed entirely in your browser. We only send the audio to transcribe it, and we don't store it.
What length and resolution are supported?
Videos up to 3 minutes and up to 1080p (the short side of the picture can't exceed 1080 pixels). MP4, MOV and WebM.
Does the final video lose quality?
It is exported at the same resolution and frame rate as the original, with a bitrate close to the input file. The audio is copied without re-encoding when the format allows it.
Which languages does it support?
Most languages with clear speech. The language is detected automatically, but you can pick it by hand if your video mixes several.
Can I fix the transcript?
Yes. You can edit the text of any word before exporting. The timings stay the same.
Does it work on phones?
Yes, in modern browsers. Rendering on a phone can take longer than on a computer, so keep the tab open.
Does the exported video have a watermark?
No. CueSprint adds no watermark or logo: the video you download only has your captions.
